Memorial Day

Yesterday was Memorial Day. We had big plans for a cookout with friends that night and other things during the day. I was in the shower that morning and Charles came in and with the most excited voice I have ever heard from him and said "She did it again! She rolled over!" He was so excited that he got to see it. The first and only time she's rolled over was on Mother's Day and he missed it because he was outside grilling. So she has now rolled over once from her stomach to her back and once from her back to her stomach! Now we'll just have to wait and see when she does it again!

After our excitement from the morning, we prepared for 4 other families to come over for a cookout. Charles got a new grill as an early Father's Day present from Autumn and he was excited to show it off and put it to use! There were 10 adults and 10 children here, with 8 of the children being 2 years and up. It was crazy at some times, but we had a great time with everyone!

My first blog...EVER!

I've been wanting to start a blog for a while now to keep family and friends updated on Autumn and things going on in our lives, but life got in the way. I finally have a chance to sit down and start one, now lets just hope I can keep up with it! 

Autumn is 3 months and 3 weeks old TODAY! She is growing like a weed! She has entered the grab everything I can and put it my mouth phase. She's also doing really well with playing with toys you put in front of her. When you lay her on her back, she lifts her head and legs and tries to sit up. She seems to have moved fussy time from late evening to late morning which can be tough at times since I dont have Charles here to help me anymore. She also loves to fight sleep. We're really hoping that phase passes soon. Other than that she's a healthy, happy girl who loves to laugh, smile and snuggle up with you!
